Gentlemen:.
We enclose herewith, a copy of our latest catalogue.
Prices in same, however, are not correct. It was our
intention to give you a catalogue you could use in
figuring your costs and resale prices. However, the
increase in the price of steel in the last ten days
has completely changed the printed prices.
However, the catalogue will show you the items we are
able to furnish.
Delivery of all items subject to manufacturing material
on hand and subject to our stock of those items we do
not manufacture.
Hoping to receive your orders, we remain.
Very truly yours,
LA CROSSE STEEL ROOFING & CORRUGATING CO,
0^ ^:;^tC^^^
y/y^ President
NOTICE! NOTICE!
The prices in this book are subject to a discount of
50?^. Divide the prices by 2 and you will have your
net prices. This applies only to those items not
marked "NET".
Make note of this and then tear out this small slip.
Thus yoM can show the book to your customers and
not reveal your private costs.

DESCRIPTION OF SILO ROOFS
With each silo Roof we furnish Instruction Sheet for erect-
ing, which we pack in box with fittings.
We do not furnish the Steel Ring which goes around the
outside on top of Cement Sta%''e and Tile Silo, whicli the cables
attach to, which holds the roof down on Silo.
When Silos are built of solid cement, bolts should be set in tile
cement on the top to which the cables can be attached, or a steel
clamp ring can be used, same aB for a cement stave or tile silo.
For Wood Stave Silo the cable clips are fasteneti to the wood
staves with screws. The outside lap of .sheet or lower roof of
flambrel Style and 1/3 Pitch Silo Roof are formetl in channel
.shape, being wider at the Eave, which compensates for any varia-
tion in the size of Silo, either under or over in sixe. This is a great
improvement over the old way of forming Silo Roof Sheets, which
did not provide for any variation.
The upper roof sheets of Gambrel Style are made with straight
Channel Seams as there is no variation in 8i?.e to contend with in
this part of roof, as the Steel Angle Ring at the hip and the Vent
Collar at the top are always uniform in size and the top roof
■'lieots are made to fit.

ARMORIZE
"Instead of Painting — Use Armorize." For Protection
against Rust, Decay, Water, Heat, Deterio-
ration — for All Surfaces.
Durability under the most trying conditions and
exposure; even on hot surfaces.
Brush or spray application.
Permanence of bright color and light reflection.
Freedom from flaking, chipping and cracking.
Armorize will not rub off.
Greater ease of application and unusually smooth
beauty of finished surface.
A great development in metallic protective, prim-
ing and decorative coatings for metal, wood, masonry,
plaster, fabric and composition surfaces.
ARMORIZE
METAL AND MASONRY PAINT
(Silver)
Armorize metal and masonry paint is the result
of a new discovery in combining oils, resins and fiat
metallic particles of a rust and corrosion resistant
alloy forming a protective coating of overlapping
leaf-like particles with remarkable resistance to rust,
moisture, corrosion, brine, chemical fumes and gases.
Developed for use on iron, steel, tin, galvanized
metal, masonry and asphalt surfaces,
RcsisuS heat up to 600° F. and recommended for
stacks, boiler fronts and similar surfaces.
ARMORIZE ZINC CHROMATE METAL PRIMER
Metal surfaces should fir.st be fuUv primed or
spot primed with ARMORIZE ZINC CHROMATE
FETAL PRIMER before applying top coats. The cost
of priming adds very little to the total paint cost,
while giving much greater protection against rust and
adding greatly to the life of top coats.

RHEEM AUTOMATIC COAL STOKERS
RB-Series
RB Series — Hopper Model
(Also RJ Series Bin Feed)
— For Home and Industry —
Designed to give the highest values in heating
throLigli complete utilization of every piece of coal.
Makes possible savings up to 60% on fuel bills.
Embodies the latest developments in modern auto-
matic coal stokers, plus many outstanding features
exclusive with Rheem.
Modern imderfeed firing insures complete combus-
tion without waste. Sealed Power Drive slowly turns
conveyor screw to carry coal at a uniform rate to the
bottom of the fuel bed. Here, the automatic air
regulator and stoker fan maintain a constant fuel
depth through perfectly controlled air circulation.
Perfect combustion as provided by tiie Rheem
stokers prevents formation of loose, dirty ashes. In-
stead, a solidified clinker ash is formed, which is
easily removed with a pair of tongs. Less than five
minutes attention once a day will take care of a
furnace equipped with one of these stokers.
Rheem automatic stokers have a smooth, silent,
dependable operation with minimum moving parts.
Finger tip adjustment of the remote automatic control
produces warmth throughout the home.

PORTABLE INCINERATOR
The portable MAJESTIC No. 30 Incinerator is the
convenient, odorless, safe, and sanitary way to dispose
of wet or ch-y rubbish and garbage, using the waste
itself as fuel. The unique downdraft system draws
air from the top through the refuse, which dries as it
burns and reduces to ashes. The same downdraft
dries the waste when not ignited. No odors escape
into the basement. Incinerator connects to any 8-inch
furnace flue and will not affect the heating plant.
Ashes need be removed from the large ash pan not
more than once a month.
This Fuelless Type Incinerator is constructed of
cast semi-steel and heavy sheet steel, neatly finished
in heatproof enamel and black trim. The cut-away
illustration shows the slotted inner lining extending
upward almost to the flue opening, causing flames
and gases to pass through the waste.
Capacity — 3 bushels. Ht. overall — 32 inches. Di-

NO. 200
STEEL FLOOR REGISTER
Multiple Valve
The outstanding feature of No. 200 Register is the
completely pinched-back fretworlc of the face. Com-
pare the two illustrations below. The view at the left
shows the H«SiC metliod of completely pinching back
the fretwork; tlie right view shows tlie ordinary
method. The H&C method results in these important
advantages: greatly increased strength, improved ap-
pearance, reduced resistance to the flow of air, and,
most important of all, VERY LARGE FREE AREA.
The H&C method affords free area averaging 70%,
which is at least 10% greater than is obtained by the
ordinary method.

Automatic Oil Burning Water Heater
Listed as Standard by Underwriters Laboratories
This is the latest development in
gravity feed, oil burning automatic
storage water heaters. It burns No.
1 fuel oil or kerosene. It is not to be
used with either No. 2 or No. 3 fuel
oil. Fuel storage tanks are not fur-
nished with heaters. These are
usually supplied free of charge by
the oil companies who supply the oil
in drums of 50 to 60 gallon capacities.
It is more efficient and is less
noisy than most oil burning water
heaters. It has a normal recovery of
35 gallons per hour, 60 degree tem-
perature rise.
Patented "Lo-Pilot" Vaporizing
Pot-Type Burner Features
Noiseless, Economical Operation
Standard Equipment: Storage tank is double extra
heavy — 300 lb. test, galvanized inside and out with
virgin spelter. Flue diameter is 6 inches. Tank apron
completely surrounds combustion chamber. Burner

construction, quick lighting, clean smokeless fiame.
Exclusive Hotstream disappearing burner inlet clean-
er. Combustion Thermostat and Oil Flow Regulating
Valve. Reduces oil flow to burner when desired
water temperature is reached. Automatically com-
pensates for fuel flow variation due to oil tempera-
ture changes. Customer temperature control adjust-
ment, hardened steel "fail safe" safety tri pmecha-
nisni. Draft-O-Stat automatic draft control maintains
correct draft for most efficient burning, regardless of
varying weather conditions. Door is large enough to
permit easy access to combustion chamber. Finis'i is
